The much-awaited ICAN4 – second edition of World’s First 10-day Digital Live International Conference was inaugurated on July 1 in the presence of highly acclaimed media educators, scholars, researchers and professionals from across the globe who had gathered to deliberate on the theme – Information, communication and Artificial Networks. The conference was organised by DME Media School, Delhi Metropolitan Education, Noida in collaboration with School of Communications and Creative Arts, Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia and supported by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR). At the outset, Dr Ambrish Saxena, Convener of the conference said, “Organisations like UNESCO, India Today Education and IIMC have been supporting us in organising various editions of the conference.” In every edition, we have received more than 100 abstracts, which always motivates us, added the senior professor. Dr Susmita Bala, Chief Associate Convener, welcomed the dignitaries and said, “ICAN started as a three-day international conference but evolved to become a ten-day affair.” Prof (Dr) Shahid Rasool, Dean, School of Media Studies, Director, Media and Public Relations Centre, Director Tulmulla Campus, Central University of Kashmir delivered the keynote address.
