Kathryn Lancioni is an educator, author, and communications strategist whose career has been shaped by a lifelong love of storytelling and helping people find their voice. With more than two decades of experience across journalism, public relations, and corporate communications, she brings a rare blend of industry insight, academic depth, and heart to everything she does.

Teaching is one of Kathryn’s greatest passions. Over the years, she has taught communication, media, and public relations at Montclair State University, Rutgers University, and Seton Hall University, and has guest lectured at Cornell, Columbia, Columbia Business School, and NYU. She also works with ieiMedia, where she designs and leads international media programs in Italy. These programs allow her to mentor students as they step into new cultures, sharpen their storytelling skills, and grow both personally and professionally—an experience she considers a true privilege.

Her coaching work grew out of the same desire to help people express themselves with clarity and confidence. Through her company, Presenting Perfection, Kathryn works with teens, college students, executives, and entrepreneurs, helping them strengthen their public speaking, refine their personal brand, navigate generational communication, and prepare for life’s high-stakes moments. Her approach is warm, direct, and deeply personalized—focused on building confidence as much as competence.

Kathryn is also the creator and host of Gut Punch, a podcast she launched with the Digital Transformation Broadcast Network. The show features honest conversations about mental health, leadership, resilience, and the defining moments that shape who we become. It reflects her belief that our stories—especially the messy, challenging ones—can connect and heal us.

She continues to write, speak, and contribute to the broader conversation about communication in a changing world. Kathryn is the author of three public relations textbooks published by Kendall Hunt, a member of the Forbes Coaches Council, and a communications advisor to several female-founded startups, including Alphy and Zant. She also proudly serves on the advisory board of Entrepreneurship@Cornell.

Across all her roles, Kathryn’s mission is simple: to help people lead, speak, and show up with authenticity, empathy, and purpose
